African Horizons offers innovative safaris to East and Southern Africa catering to people with a thirst for meaningful travel experiences. Destinations include Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa. Our web site contains over 60 trips searchable by country and price range. We also specialize in tailor-made itineraries reflecting your interests time frame and budget.

All our safaris are conducted in small exclusive groups of 2 to 10 people. Each vehicle carries no more than 7 passengers, each with a window seat. Safaris are conducted in 4X4 WD vehicles or minibuses with open tops, and are stocked with mineral water, maps, and books about nature and wildlife. They are also regularly checked for safety and are linked by radio to the main office. Safari accommodations include hotels, lodges, permanent tented camps and mobile-tented camps. Trips are all inclusive of land transportation, lodging, activities and park fees.

Your guide will be an English-speaking, qualified professional with an in-depth knowledge of the local flora and fauna, intent on sharing his passion with you. The importance of skilled guides cannot be over emphasized.
